A Fenton woman was hurt Thursday morning (Aug. 20) in a one-vehicle accident on Hwy. 141 at Hwy. 30 in Fenton, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.
At 10:50 a.m., Laura M. Ziegler, 20, of Fenton was driving a 2014 Honda CRV north on Hwy. 141, and while turning left to travel west on the eastbound Hwy. 30 ramp, she drove off the right side of the ramp, where the SUV struck a culvert, the report said.
No injuries were reported for her. However, a passenger in the SUV – Brenda J. Ziegler, 60, of Fenton – was moderately hurt and taken by ambulance to Mercy Hospital South in south St. Louis County, where she was listed in good condition Thursday afternoon, a hospital spokesman said.
Both the Zieglers were wearing seat belts, the patrol reported.
The SUV had minor damage, the report said.
