Roy D. Heinrich, 51, of Fenton was seriously hurt Friday evening (May 13) in a motorcycle accident on Pounds Road south of Dietrich Lane in Festus, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reports.
At 6:08 p.m., Heinrich was riding a 2003 Yamaha V-Star south on Pounds Road, and the bike ran off the right side of the road and overturned, ejecting him, the report said.
He was taken by helicopter to Mercy Hospital St. Louis in Creve Coeur.
It’s unknown whether Heinrich was wearing a helmet, the patrol reported.
The bike sustained minor damage, the report said.
