A Eureka woman and three other area residents were hurt Sunday afternoon (Oct. 1) in a three-vehicle accident on Hwy. 94 at Hwy. 364 in St. Charles County, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said.
At about 1:20 p.m., Alayna J. Dillon-Cox, 23, of Eureka, in a 2017 Chevrolet Cruze, was stopped on eastbound Hwy. 94, and an eastbound 2006 Chevrolet Trailblazer came from behind and struck the rear of the Cruze, pushing it into the intersection, where it struck the right side of an eastbound 2015 Chrysler 200 that was attempting to turn left, the report said.
Theresa L. Aston, 53, of Troy was driving the Trailblazer, and Joy C. Radigan, 23, of St. Charles was driving the Chrysler 200, according to the report.
Dillon-Cox and Aston were moderately injured, and Radigan and a passenger in the Chrysler 200 – Malach C. Radigan, 26, of St. Charles – sustained minor injuries.
Dillon-Cox was transported by ambulance to Progress West Hospital in O’Fallon. No information was available about her condition today (Oct. 6).
Aston was taken by ambulance to SSM Health St. Joseph Hospital in St. Charles, where she was treated and released, a hospital spokesman said.
The Radigans were taken by private conveyance to Progress West, and no information about their conditions was available.
All four people were wearing seatbelts, the patrol reported.
The Cruze was totaled, and the Trailblazer and Chrysler 200 were extensively damaged, the report said.
