Nancy S. Passiglia, 64, of Eureka was injured Thursday morning (May 20) in a two-vehicle accident on Hwy. W south of Winnifred Road near Hoene Springs, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.
At 11:23 a.m., Passiglia was driving a 1994 Grumman Allied Inc. Long Life mail truck-type vehicle south on the highway and slowed to turn left into a private driveway, and Kody L. Graves, 32, of Eureka, who was driving behind the mail truck in a southbound 2016 Ram 1500, was unable to stop in time, and the front left side of the pickup struck the rear of the mail truck, the report said.
No injuries were reported for Graves. However, Passiglia was moderately injured and taken by ambulance to Mercy Hospital St. Louis in Creve Coeur, where she was treated and released, a hospital spokeswoman said.
Both drivers were wearing seat belts, the patrol reported.
The pickup was moderately damaged, and the other vehicle had minor damage, the report said.
