A 28-year-old Eureka woman died in a crash south of Washington in Franklin County, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.
On Tuesday, Jan. 28, at 9:24 a.m., the woman was driving a northbound 2021 Mazda CX-3 on Hwy. A south of Logan Lane when the vehicle traveled off the right side of the road, struck a culvert and a driveway, and overturned, the report said. The woman was ejected from the vehicle, which came to a rest on its roof.
Washington Area Ambulance District personnel pronounced the woman dead on the scene at 9:37 a.m., and she was transported by Lonning Mortuary Services to the St. Louis County Medical Examiner’s Office, the report said.
According to the report, the woman was not wearing a seat belt, and the vehicle was totaled.
