A Pevely man was seriously injured Saturday evening, Oct. 5, in a one-vehicle accident on Hwy. 21 north Arnault Branch Road south of Old Mines in Washington County, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.
At 6:20 p.m., Dylan M. Massey, 26, of Pevely was driving a 2020 Chevrolet 2500 south on the highway and failed to negotiate a curve before the pickup ran off the right side of the road and struck a utility pole, the report said.
He was taken by Washington County Ambulance to Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis County, according to the report.
Massey was not wearing a seat belt, the patrol reported.
The pickup was totaled, the report said.
