Fonda S. Bohle, 37, of Dittmer was injured New Year’s Eve afternoon (Dec. 31) in a two-vehicle accident at highways 30 and Y north of Grubville, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.
At 1:18 p.m., Bohle was driving a 2010 Honda Accord north on Hwy. Y and pulled into the path of a 2000 Ford Excursion headed east on Hwy. 30, and the front of the Excursion struck the left side of the Accord, the report said.
Edward K. Cook, 61, of House Springs was driving the Excursion. No injuries were reported for him.
Bohle, however, was moderately injured and taken by Big River Ambulance to Mercy Hospital South in south St. Louis County, the report said.
Both drivers were wearing seat belts, the patrol reported.
The Accord was totaled, and the Excursion was extensively damaged, the report said.
