Jason M. Matney, 42, of Dittmer was arrested for alleged probation violations following a one-vehicle accident on Wednesday morning (Oct. 27) at Hwy. 30 and County Line Road in Franklin County that left him injured, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.
At 6:30 a.m., Matney was driving an eastbound 2009 Chevrolet Equinox and ran off the right side of the road, where it struck a utility pole, tree and fence, the report said.
He was moderately injured and taken by Big River Ambulance to Mercy Hospital South in south St. Louis County, where he was treated and released, a hospital spokesman said.
Matney was wearing a seat belt, the patrol reported.
The vehicle was totaled, the report said.
The highway patrol arrested Matney at 10:44 a.m. on warrants from Jefferson and Warrant counties for the probation violations, and he was being held with no bond in Franklin County, the report said.
