Kelly L. McMillers, 37, of De Soto was seriously injured Thursday evening, June 2, in a one-car accident on Hwy. 21 north of Woodcrest Place just north of De Soto, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.
At 7 p.m., McMillers was driving north on the highway in a 2015 Nissan Altima when the vehicle traveled off the right side of the road and struck an embankment, the report said.
McMillers was taken by Valle Ambulance to Mercy Hospital St. Louis in Creve Coeur where she was still listed in serious condition on Friday afternoon, June 3, a hospital spokesperson said.
She was not wearing a seat belt, and the Altima was totaled, the report said.
