Summer N. Binkinz, 24, of De Soto was injured Wednesday evening (July 24) in a one-car accident on Flucom Road east of Tiffany Lane east of De Soto, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.
At 4:20 p.m., Binkinz was driving a 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee west on Flucom Road and traveled off the right side of the road and then overcorrected, causing the Jeep to cross the center line, and then she overcorrected again and the Jeep ran into a ditch, the report said.
Binkinz was moderately injured and taken by Valle Ambulance to Mercy Hospital South in south St. Louis County, where she was treated and released, a hospital spokesman said.
She was not wearing a seat belt, the patrol reported.
The Jeep was totaled, the report said.
