A De Soto woman was injured Monday afternoon (Sept. 17) in a one-car crash on Hwy. 50 in Franklin County, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.
Just before 3 p.m., Tammy S. Pona, 49, was driving a 1999 Ford Crown Victoria east on the highway, and the car ran off the left side of the road and struck a tree in a home’s backyard, the report said.
Pona was moderately injured and taken by Union EMS to Mercy Hospital Washington, according to a report.
She was not wearing a seat belt, the patrol reported.
The car was totaled, the report said.
