A De Soto teenager was seriously injured Sunday night (April 28) when she was ejected during a one-car accident on Hwy. E south of the Klondike Road South Junction south of De Soto, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.
At 10:40 p.m., Chloe R. Neumann, 18, of De Soto was driving a 2003 Honda Accord on Hwy. E, and the car and ran off the left side of the road, struck a ditch and a fence and then overturned, ejecting her, the report said.
Neumann was taken by Valle Ambulance to Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis. A hospital spokesman today (May 1) said Neumann was treated and released.
The Accord was totaled, the patrol reported.
Neumann was not wearing a seat belt, the report said.
