Kristin E. Endress, 17, of De Soto was seriously hurt Thursday morning (April 4) in a one-vehicle accident on Hwy. B at Rocky Farm Road just west of Hillsboro, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.
At 11:30 a.m., Endress was driving a southbound 1999 Mazda B2500 and lost control of the pickup on the wet road, and the truck ran off the right side of the road and struck a rock bluff, the report said.
She was taken by Valle Ambulance to Mercy Hospital St. Louis in Creve Coeur, where she was treated and released, a hospital spokeswoman said.
Endress was wearing a seat belt, the patrol reported.
The pickup was totaled, the report said.
