A De Soto man was injured late Sunday morning (May 23) while he was riding a motorcycle in Reynolds County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported that Joseph Bingenheimer, 54, was riding a 2016 Indian motorcycle east on Hwy. K about two miles east of Ellington at 11:20 a.m. when he hit a deer on the road. The motorcycle overturned, throwing Bingenheimer off.
He suffered moderate injuries and was taken by Reynolds County Ambulance to Iron County Medical Center in Pilot Knob.
An update on his condition was not available.
Bingenheimer was wearing a safety helmet, the report said. The motorcycle was damaged moderately, according to the report.
