A De Soto man was hurt after he was thrown from his motorcycle Saturday night (Sept. 30) when he was riding on Buck Creek Road south of Festus.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported that Dustin Kincade, 35, was riding a 2001 Harley Davidson Fat Boy west on Buck Creek Road east of Hummell Lane at 10:45 p.m. when he rode into the eastbound lane and overcorrected, causing the motorcycle to overturn and throwing him off. The motorcycle then hit a utility pole and returned to the road, blocking both lanes.
Kincade sustained serious injuries and was taken by Joachim-Plattin Ambulance to Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Crystal City, the report said.
An update on his condition was not available.
Kincade was not wearing a helmet, the report said. The motorcycle had moderate damage.
