Wayne E. Huskey, 57, of De Soto was seriously hurt early this morning (May 19) in a one-vehicle accident at Hillsboro and Jacobs Creek roads in St. Francois County, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.
At 12:10 a.m., Huskey was driving a 1998 Ford Ranger north on Hillsboro Road, and the pickup ran off the left side of the road and struck a creek embankment, the report said.
He was taken by St. Francis County Ambulance to St. Anthony’s Medical Center in south St. Louis County.
Huskey was not wearing a seat belt, the patrol reported.
The pickup was totaled, the report said.
