Dennis Kolf, 68, of De Soto was hurt this morning (Jan. 20) in a one-car accident on Hwy. H east of Ware Road and west of De Soto, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reports.
At 7:14 a.m., Kolf was driving a 2008 Toyota Yaris east on Hwy. H, and the car began to spin as it was traveling through a curve before he overcorrected, causing the car to run off the right side of the road and strike a mailbox and two trees, the report said.
Kolf was moderately injured and taken by Valle Ambulance to St. Anthony’s Medical Center in south St. Louis County.
He was wearing a seat belt, the patrol reported.
The car was totaled, a report said.
