A De Soto man was hurt in a single-vehicle accident Friday morning (May 24) on Mount Olive Road south of De Soto.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported that Steven Sutton, 47, was driving a 2002 Ford Explorer south on Mount Olive Road north of Hwy. V at 7:30 a.m. when he drove off the right side of the road, struck two road signs, a concrete bridge rail and a fence.
Sutton suffered moderate injuries and was taken by Valle Ambulance to Mercy Hospital South in south St. Louis County, the report said.
An update on his condition was not available.
Sutton was wearing a seat belt, the report said. The Ford had extensive damage.
