A Dardenne Prairie man was seriously injured Wednesday afternoon, April 13, in a two-vehicle accident at Hwy. 141 and 13th Street in unincorporated Fenton, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.
At 3:25 p.m., Jaleel D. Lee, 28, of Dardenne Prairie was driving a 2014 Hyundai Veloster north on the highway and lost control, and the front of the car struck the driver’s side of a 2018 Jeep Renegade that was stopped on Springdale Lane facing west. The Veloster continued and struck the concrete traffic signal base, the report said.
Lori A. Kuhnert, 63, of Fenton was driving the Jeep. No injuries were reported for her.
Lee was taken by Rock Township Ambulance to Mercy Hospital South in south St. Louis County, where he was treated and released, a hospital spokesman said.
Both Lee and Kuhnert were wearing seat belts, the patrol reported.
The two vehicles were totaled.
