Tina M. Tessmer, 55, of Hematite died early this morning, May 13, in a one-vehicle accident on Meyer Road east of Lee Road near Hematite, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.
At 1:30 a.m., Tessmer was driving a 1971 GMC Sierra Grande east on Meyer Road and ran off the left side of the road, where the pickup struck multiple trees and overturned, the report said. Tessmer was pronounced dead on the scene by fire personnel.
It is unknown if Tessmer was wearing a seat belt, the patrol reported.
The vehicle was totaled, the report said.
