A 23-year-old Cedar Hill woman was arrested for suspicion of driving while intoxicated following an ATV accident in Franklin County. A passenger on the all-terrain vehicle was injured, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.
The crash occurred at 9:10 p.m. Thursday night (April 23) on Hwy. HH at Hwy. 30, where the Cedar Hill woman was riding an eastbound 2002 Kawasaki Prairie before it overturned into a ditch, ejecting her and the passenger – Miranda C. Bennett, 25, of Cedar Hill, the report said.
No injuries were reported for the 23-year-old. However, Bennett was moderately hurt and taken by ambulance to SSM Health St. Clare Hospital in Fenton.
Neither woman was using a safety device, the patrol reported.
The ATV was not damaged, the report said.
The highway patrol arrested the 23-year-old for an alleged DWI not long after the accident.
Her name will not be published unless charges are filed, and as of this morning (April 25), none had been filed.
