A Cedar Hill teenager and a House Springs man were injured Thursday afternoon, Oct. 24, in a three-vehicle accident on Hwy. W east of Lakeview Drive southeast of Hoene Springs, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.

At 2:30 p.m., the teen, a 17-year-old boy, was driving a 2019 Chevrolet Silverado north on the highway, crossed the solid, double yellow line and struck the front of a southbound 2015 Chevrolet Silverado driven by Jackie W. Honea, 70, of House Springs. Then, the 2019 Silverado rotated and struck a southbound 2016 Honda Pilot driven by Aaron A. Kell, 27, of St. Louis, the report said.

No injuries were reported for Kell. However, the teen was moderately injured and Honea sustained minor injuries, and both were transported by ambulance to area hospitals – the teen to Mercy St. Louis in Creve Coeur and the man to Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis County, according to the report.

No information about their conditions was available today, Oct. 27.

The three drivers were wearing seat belts, the patrol reported.

All the vehicles were totaled, the report said.

The highway patrol did not release the teen's name because he is a juvenile.
