A Cedar Hill man was involved in a collision involving two personal watercrafts Saturday afternoon (Aug. 31) on the Lake of the Ozarks.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported that Robert Borgers, 22, of Cedar Hill was riding a 2001 Yamaha north on the Gravois arm of the lake at 3:25 p.m. when he collided head-on with a 2018 Seadoo ridden by Michael Forth, 22, of St. Louis.

The report made no mention of an injury to Borgers, but Forth sustained moderate injuries and was taken by ambulance to Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach.

An update on his condition was not available.

Both were wearing personal floatation devices, the report said. The Seadoo was damaged moderately while the Yamaha had minor damage.
