A Cedar Hill man was injured in a three-vehicle crash Tuesday morning, Oct. 8, on eastbound I-44 west of Bowles Avenue in the St. Louis County area of Fenton, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.
At 6:25 a.m., Abbie B. Daniels, 34, of Valley Park attempted to change lanes in a 2013 Ford Edge and struck the left front of a 2022 Chevrolet Silverado driven by Donald A. Mayfield, 45, the report said. The Ford was pushed back into the rear of a 2015 Dodge Durango driven by Sean T. Fitzsimmons, 42, of Eureka.
Mayfield was moderately injured and taken by Fenton Fire Protection District to Mercy Hospital South in south St. Louis County, the report said.
According to a hospital spokesman, Mayfield was treated and released.
All three drivers were wearing seat belts, and the vehicles were moderately damaged, the report said.
