A Cedar Hill man was hurt Thursday evening (June 8) in a two-vehicle accident on Hwy. 30 west of Delores Drive in the Fenton area, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reports.
At 5:45 p.m., James. J. Fasnacht, 47, of Cedar Hill was headed east on Hwy. 30 in a 2009 Ford Explorer and slowed due to traffic congestion ahead. Cody L. Obenau, 22, of Ballwin also was headed east on Hwy. 30 in a 2006 Pontiac Vibe, following behind Fasnacht, and the front of the Vibe struck the rear of the Explorer.
No injuries were reported for Obenau. However, Fasnacht was moderately injured and taken by North Jefferson County Ambulance to St. Anthony’s Medical Center in south St. Louis County where today (June 9) he was listed in good condition, a hospital spokesman said.
Both men were wearing seat belts, the patrol reported.
The two cars were totaled, the report said.
