Two De Soto women were injured Sept. 29 on Hwy. 21 north of Lembeck Lake Road just outside De Soto, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.
At 11:42 p.m., Logan R. Light, 18, of Hillsboro was driving a 2006 Ram 1500 when he lost control of the vehicle and it slid into the path of a southbound 2004 Jeep Cherokee driven by Alexis L. Burrous, 29, and the front of the Jeep struck the front of the Ram, the report said.
Burrous was moderately injured, and a passenger, Jennifer K. Howard, 49, had minor injuries, and both were taken by Valle Ambulance to Mercy Hospital South in south St. Louis County, the report said.
As of Monday evening, Burrous was listed in satisfactory condition, and Howard had been treated and released, a hospital spokesman said.
Burrous, Howard and Light were wearing seat belts, and both vehicles were totaled, a hospital spokesman said.
