Both women were taken by Joachim-Plattin Ambulance to Mercy Hospital St. Louis in Creve Coeur, according to the report.
Neither woman was wearing a seat belt, the patrol reported.
The two cars were totaled, the report said.
The Bonne Terre woman was arrested for felony possession at 2:11 p.m. and was held at the Jefferson County Jail until her release, according to the report.
Her name will not be published unless charges are filed against her in the case, and as of this morning, Nov. 19, none had been filed.
