Christina A. Pritchett, 27, of Barnhart was hurt this morning (July 3) in a one-car accident on Hwy. 61-67 north of Hearst Lane in Barnhart, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.
At 7:38 a.m., Pritchett was driving a 2011 Chevrolet Cruze north on Hwy. 61-67, fell asleep and the car ran off the right side of the road where it struck a utility pole and a chain-link fence, the report said.
Pritchett was moderately injured and taken by Rock Township Ambulance to St. Anthony’s Medical Center in south St. Louis County, where she was treated and released, a hospital spokesman said this afternoon.
She was wearing a seat belt, the patrol reported.
The car was extensively damaged, the report said.
