A 57-year-old Barnhart man died following a crash on Thursday, Feb. 6, on Tesson Ferry Road in St. Louis County, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.
At 1:46 p.m., a 30-year-old Farmington man was driving a 2012 Chevrolet Silverado and crossed the centerline near Walden Ridge Drive and struck a 1998 GMC 400 driven by the Barnhart man, the patrol report said.
The Barnhart man was taken by Mehlville EMS to Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, where he was pronounced dead at 4:10 p.m. The Farmington man was seriously injured and taken by Mehlville EMS to Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis County, the report said.
The Farmington man was wearing a seat belt while the Barnhart man was not, the patrol reported.
Both vehicles were totaled, the report said.
