The body of a 66-year-old Fenton man was found floating in the Lake of the Ozarks last week, and authorities believe he drowned, according to a report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol’s Water Patrol Division.

The body, which was found at 8:24 p.m. May 19 in the Kinchelow Hollow Cove at the 25-mile marker in Camden County, was identified as Steven M. Fox, the report said.

He was pronounced dead at the scene by the Camden County medical examiner, according to the report.

Authorities planned to further investigate the death, the report said.
