An Arnold woman was hurt in a two-vehicle accident late Saturday afternoon (Nov. 6) at I-270 and I-55 in the Oakville area of south St. Louis County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported that Daciy Ramirez, 24, of East St. Louis, Ill., was driving a 2001 Acura CL south on I-270 at 5:10 p.m. when she attempted to change lanes, and her car hit the right side of a 2017 Infiniti QX60 driven by Samira Grosonja, 46, of Arnold. Both vehicles went off the right side of the road and struck a sign, the report said.
Grosonja sustained moderate injuries and she was taken by the Mehlville Fire Protection District to Mercy Hospital South in south St. Louis County, the report said.
An update on her condition was not available.
The report made no mention of an injury to Ramirez.
Both drivers were wearing seat belts, the report said, and both vehicles were totaled.
