An Arnold teenager and a St. Louis man were hurt in a two-car accident Wednesday (Dec. 14) on the West Outer Road at Commerce Drive in the Arnold area, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reports.
At 12:15 p.m., Adam J. Woodward, 17, of Arnold, in a northbound 1997 Nissan Maxima, made a left turn in front of a southbound 2007 Chrysler Sebring, and the left front of the Sebring struck the right front of the Maxima, the report said.
Andrew J. Dunn, 29, of St. Louis was driving the Sebring. He sustained minor injuries, and Woodward was moderately injured, according to the report.
Both were taken by private conveyance to St. Anthony’s Medical Center in south St. Louis County, where they were treated and released, a hospital spokesman said.
The two drivers were wearing seat belts, the patrol reported.
The Sebring was extensively damaged, and the Maxima sustained moderate damage, the report said.
