A man and woman, both from Arnold, were injured Sunday afternoon (Feb. 27) when someone was driving a minivan at Hwy. 30 and High Ridge Boulevard in High Ridge, struck a car and allegedly left the scene of the accident, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.
At 3:13 p.m., an unknown person was driving an eastbound Town and Country minivan and while making an improper left turn, struck a westbound 2021 Nissan Altima driven by Tommy E. Anderson, 25, of Arnold. The minivan driver then fled the scene, the report said.
Anderson had minor injuries, and a passenger in the Altima – Alyssa R. Robson, 24, of Arnold – was moderately injured. Both were taken by private conveyance to Mercy Hospital South in south St. Louis County, where they were treated and released, a hospital spokesman said.
The two were wearing seat belts, the patrol reported.
The Altima had minor damage, and it’s unknown if the minivan was damaged, the report said.
