An Arnold man was injured in a crash involving a semi-truck on Aug. 9 on I-55 north of Butler Hill Road in St. Louis County, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.
At 4:05 a.m., Ryan J. Boussum, 45, was driving a southbound 2009 Chevrolet Silverado and began to pass a 2019 Kenworth T880, driven south by Ariel Dominguez, 52, of Del Rio, Texas, and struck the rear of the semi, the report said.
Boussum was moderately injured and taken by Mehlville Fire Protection District to Mercy Hospital South in south St. Louis County, the report said.
Boussum was treated and released, a hospital spokesman said.
According to the report, both drivers were wearing seat belts, the Silverado was totaled, and the semi had minor damage.
