An Arnold man was moderately injured in a one-car crash Wednesday evening (Jan. 9) at Berry Road and Industrial Drive in Bonne Terre, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.
At 8:48 p.m., Daniel D Blount, 50, driving a northbound 2000 Mazda Protege, failed to round a curve to the right, and the car ran off the left side of the road and hit a mailbox, a culvert and a tree, the report said.
He was transported by St. Francois County Ambulance o Mercy Hospital South in south St. Louis County, where he was listed in satisfactory condition as of today (Jan. 11), a hospital spokesman said.
Blount was not wearing a seat belt, the patrol reported.
The vehicle was totaled, the report said.
