An Arnold man was hurt in a two-car traffic accident late Saturday afternoon (Sept. 26) at Jeffco Boulevard (Hwy. 61-67) and Telegraph Road in Arnold.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported that James Peskar, 63, of Arnold was driving a 2008 Toyota Camry south on Jeffco Boulevard at 5:15 p.m. and was attempting to turn left onto northbound Telegraph Road when he drove into the path of a northbound 2008 Lexus RX driven by Denise Zimmerman, 42, of Arnold. The front of the Lexus hit the front right of the Toyota, the report said.
The report made no mention of injury to Zimmerman, but Peskar suffered moderate injuries and was taken by car to Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, the report said.
An update on his condition was not available.
Zimmerman was wearing a seat belt but Peskar was not, the report said. Both vehicles had moderate damage.
