An Arkansas man was hurt this morning (June 24) in a one-vehicle accident on Hwy. 67 south of Mount Olive Road in the De Soto area, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reports.
At 8:45 a.m., Orbal Shore, 89, of Danville, Ark., was driving a 1998 Ford Ranger north on Hwy. 67, and fell asleep before the pickup ran into the median cable barrier, the report said.
He sustained moderate injuries and was taken by Valle Ambulance to Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Crystal City.
Shore was wearing a seat belt, the patrol reported.
The pickup sustained moderate damage, the report said.
