Aaron D. Phipps, 29, of Hillsboro died Friday night, Oct. 18, in a one-car accident in the 6300 block of Klondike Road in the Hillsboro area, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.
At 8:50 p.m., Phipps was driving a 2007 Honda Fit south on Klondike Road and ran off the left side of the road, where the car struck a fence and a tree, the report said.
Phipps was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the report.
He was not wearing a seat belt, the patrol reported.
The car was totaled, the report said.
