Marshel “Gene” Randolph, 81, of Arnold died March 3, 2017, at his home. Mr. Randolph was a vending mechanic at Canteen and was a member of Teamsters Union Local 688. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, crafts, woodworking, playing sports and spending time with his grandchildren. Born May 4, 1935, in Ellington, he was the son of the late Alfred P. and Lucy (Goforth) Randolph. He was preceded in death by his wife: Ruby Marie (Briley) Randolph.
He is survived by two sons: Danny Eugene (Kelly) Randolph of Ballwin and Thomas Wayne (Lynda) Randolph of Imperial; a daughter: Angela Renee (Donald) Johnson of Arnold; eight grandchildren: Lyndsey, Allyson, Charles, Emma, Andrea, Zackary, Kaylee and Kelcey; and four great-grandchildren: Nolan, Henry, Franklin and Josephine.
He was preceded in death by four brothers: Curtis, Ansil, Cecil and Vernon Randolph.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m., Tuesday, March 7, at Mahn Twin City Chapel, 515 Collins Ave., in Festus. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m., Wednesday, March 8, at the funeral home, officiated by Chaplain Cathy Collins. Burial will be in Shepherd Hills Cemetery in Barnhart. Memorials may be made to the Hydrocephalus Association, 4340 East West Highways, Suite 905, Bethesda, MD 20814. Arrangements are under the direction of Mahn Twin City Chapel.
