What better way to celebrate America’s 250th birthday than on a staple of American television with an iconic American brand? Wheel of Fortune is set to air two weeks of shows in collaboration with Coca-Cola and give away trips and experiences across the country.
The episodes titled “Drink In America Presented by Coca-Cola” will air the weeks of June 1 and June 29, inviting viewers to “drink in” the spirit, sights, and stories of America through the lens of one of television’s most beloved shows, according to a May 18 press release.
The episodes will end just one day before America celebrates its 250th birthday on July 4. Although the episodes are filmed months in advance, those who won special 4th of July experiences had enough time to arrange travel.
“Few brands are as deeply woven into American culture as Coca-Cola and Wheel of Fortune,” Stacy Jackson, vice president of Coca‑Cola Trademark Category, said. “As a Signature Partner of America250, we’re proud to celebrate this once-in-a-generation moment by teaming up with Wheel of Fortune to invite fans across the country to drink in the stories, places, and spirit that make America special. This collaboration is a celebration of that shared legacy—bringing America250 to life through pop culture, iconic destinations, and moments worth savoring together.”
Throughout the special episodes, the game show will feature custom Coca-Cola integrations, with a branded wheel wedge offering a chance to win trips to popular American cities for exclusive July 4th celebrations, including Los Angeles for a concert at Memorial Coliseum, New York City for an exclusive Times Square ball drop, which Ryan Seacrest also hosts, and a trip to Seacrest’s hometown and Coca-Cola headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia. Earlier in May, WOF gave fans the chance to win trips to Vanna White‘s hometown, North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
Whoever advances to the Bonus Round will have the chance to win a Jeep, an official partner of America250. Viewers can enter the “Drink in America Giveaway” for a chance to win a trip to an American National Park or to Universal Studios, another Coca-Cola partner.
“Wheel of Fortune has long been a staple of American viewing, and collaborating with Coca-Cola, one of the most globally recognizable brands, feels like a natural way to celebrate America250,” Suzanne Prete, president of game shows at Sony Pictures Television, said in a release. “Both brands have been part of the cultural fabric for generations, creating shared moments of joy and connection, and we’re honored to bring that spirit to life in a way that celebrates what makes this country so special.”
