Country singer Morgan Wade makes her acting debut in Dutton Ranch, continuing the Yellowstone universe tradition of casting country music stars. She joins Lainey Wilson, who appeared in Yellowstone‘s later seasons, and Riley Green, who just finished his acting debut with an arc on Marshals on CBS. (Luke Grimes became a country music singer while working on Yellowstone, too.)

We’re compiling everything you need to know about Wade and her character on Dutton Ranch.

Who does Morgan Wade play in Dutton Ranch?

Kelly Reilly as Beth Dutton and Ed Harris as Everett McKinney in 'Dutton Ranch' Season 1 Episode 2

Wade plays Carol in Dutton Ranch. Carol is a bartender at the local watering hole in Rio Paloma, Texas, who sees all. Viewers met Carol in Episode 1, when Beth Dutton (Kelly Reilly) was getting a beer at her bar, and Everett McKinney (Ed Harris) walked in. A rowdy cowboy was giving Carol grief at the bar, and Everett, a military veteran, stepped in to put him in his place, impressing Beth (pictured above).

Wade will appear repeatedly throughout Dutton Ranch Season 1, which consists of nine episodes.

As Beth and Rip fight to build a future together – far from the ghosts of Yellowstone – they collide with brutal new realities and a ruthless rival ranch that will stop at nothing to protect its empire in Dutton Ranch. In South Texas, blood runs deeper, forgiveness is fleeting, and the cost of survival might just be your soul.

Who is Morgan Wade?

Wade is a country music singer who has toured with artists such as Chris Stapleton, Zach Bryan, Luke Combs, and Alanis Morissette.

Wade is known for songs such as “Wilder Days,” “Last Cigarette,” “Take Me Away,” and “Hardwood Floor.” Outside of music, she’s known for her relationship with Real Housewives star Kyle Richards. Wade appeared on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 13 in 2023, but opted out of appearing more in Season 14. Richards never explicitly said that they were in a romantic relationship, but their dynamic was a frequent topic of discussion.

At one point, Richards did say that she was in love, but that her partner was not comfortable with publicizing their relationship. They reportedly split because of the pressures of their relationships being so visible.

Richards costarred with Wade in her music video for “Fall In Love With Me” in 2024 (above).
