Neil J. McBride, 76, of Imperial died March 7, 2023. Mr. McBride was a member of the Knights of Columbus and a devout Catholic. He was known as kind and considerate with a generous nature. Born March 15, 1946, in St. Louis, he was the son of the late Agnes E. (Borgel) and Patrick J. McBride. He was preceded in death by his wife, Anna Marie McBride.
He is survived by two children: Daniel (Jennifer) McBride and Sarah (Robert) Paluczak; a sister: Regina McBride; and five grandchildren: Maddy, Evie, Alex, Shawn and Rachel.
He was preceded in death by a brother: Thomas McBride.
Visitation is scheduled from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, March 14, at Heiligtag-Lang-Fendler Funeral Home, 1081 Jeffco Blvd., in Arnold. A funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 15, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 6020 Old Antonia Road, in Imperial. Burial with full military honors is in the National Cemetery at Jefferson Barracks. Memorials may be made to the Heartland Humane Society. Arrangements are under the direction of Heiligtag-Lang-Fendler Funeral Home.
