The Jefferson Franklin Community Action Corporation will hold its third annual Spring Fling Festival on Saturday with activities for children and their families.

The festival will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. outside the JFCAC office at 2 Merchants Drive in Hillsboro. Donna Masters, communications coordinator for JFCAC, said there will be games and activities for children, a petting zoo, retail and craft booths, raffle baskets, face painting and 50/50 drawings.

She said food will be available for purchase, and it will be reasonably priced.

The JFCAC mobile office will offer information about its programs, such as Head Start, behavioral health, community services, healthy homes, housing, utility assistance, weatherization and WIC.

This year’s Spring Fling is special because JFCAC is celebrating Head Start’s 60th birthday.
