Jordan Teague submitted this photo taken in 2025 of Zora in the yard of their Hillsboro home as she guards against squirrels and other foreign threats. She is a 5-year-old German shepherd.
“She is so goofy,” she said. “She’ll be really happy and run in circles. She’s be happy to see me and then turn around and slap her head into the wall accidentally.
“She is equal parts genius and lovable idiot.”
Teague obtained Zora from a rescue organization.
Zora has a friendly personality.
“She loves other people and dogs,” she said. “We have another dog and they get along well.”
Teague said Zora is a valued member of the household.
“We enjoy having her,” she said.
