Brook Mowery of Pevely said she and her fiance, Drew Tayon, took along Waylon, a 1-year-old bloodhound, when they had their engagement photos taken in early December in Kimmswick.
“The truck (featured in the photo) is part of a Christmas display in Kimmswick,” Mowery said.
She said Waylon typically is mellow, but his mood can change pretty quickly.
“He is the most laid-back dog, but he can get hyperactive as well,” Mowry said.
She said Waylon’s size belies his personality.
“He is a 100-pound baby,” she said. “He’s huge but scared of everything. He’s scared of his own shadow.”
Waylon has some hobbies, Mowery said.
“He loves playing. He also loves swimming,” she said.
