Pet Spot: Tiger the cat called mischievous by owner

Rebecca Copeland of Crystal City submitted a photo of her cat, Tiger, for Pet Spot.

Rebecca Copeland of Crystal City submitted this photo of Tiger, her 1-year-old kitten, taken in April. She said the picture shows him with his stuffed bunny.

“He loves his favorite bunny toy from Easter,” she said.

She said Tiger, who she believes is either a Bengal cat or a tabby, needs to be watched.

“He’s loving, but also mischievous,” she said. “He’s a character. He’s like a toddler. He gets into a lot of stuff, like if I bring in groceries, he has to investigate.”

She said Tiger has been a great addition to her household.

“We are empty-nesters, and our pet Tiger has become our saving grace and has helped our household become happy again with all the kids grown up now,” Copeland said. “He brings so much joy to our house.”

Tiger stands out among the pets she has had, Copeland said.

“I’ve had all kinds of pets,” she said. “He’s the best cat I’ve ever had.”
