This photo from July 2024 sent in by Tangee Werkmann of Festus shows Stella caught in a typical situation, she said. Stella, now 2 ½ years old, is a cane corso-black Labrador mix.
“She was being nosy, checking out the dandelion, and I thought it was too cute,” Werkmann said. “She’s a very nosy dog.”
Stella also is active and wants attention, her owner said.
“She’s very busy,” Werkmann said. “She does stuff to get our attention. She’ll grab a shoe and walk by us and stare.
“She likes to play ball. We play fetch with tennis balls.”
Stella can also be described as agreeable.
“She is a very sweet dog,” Werkmann said. “We have five dogs and she gets along with all of them. She’s easygoing.
