Poppy Grace, a 3-year-old Great Pyrenees and shepherd mix, enjoys cold weather, said her owner, Taylor Menteer of the Pevely area.
She especially likes playing in the snow, Menteer said.
The Menteers live on a farm, and Poppy Grace helps out, Taylor Menteer added.
“She’s a herding dog. She helps me gather up the chickens,” Menteer said.
She said Poppy Grace is sociable.
“She’s gets along with our other dogs and all our chickens.”
