Pet Spot: Sheepadoodle Scout can be hard to locate

Cindy Foster of Arnold submitted a photo of her dog, Scout, for Pet Spot.

Scout’s looks can make her difficult to locate like in this photo in her toy basket, said owner Cindy Foster of Arnold.

She said Scout, 4 months, is a sheepadoodle, a mix of Old English sheepdog and poodle.

“She can be hard to find,” Foster said. “Scout is brand new to us and finds comfort resting in her toy basket.”

Scout is “rambunctious and loving, and is doing great learning commands,” Foster said.

“When I tell her she’s got to relax, she still finds a place she’s not supposed to be,” she said. “When she’s around other dogs, she acts like the queen, with her head held above the other dogs.”

She’s friendly to all, her owner said.

“She especially loves kids,” Foster said. “When my grandkids come over, she brings her toys to them.”

PET SPOT invites readers to tell a story about their pets or nonprofit animal adoption agencies to write about an adoptable pet and submit it, plus an attached photo, to news@myleaderpaper.com. Please include a phone number and city of residence for submissions from individuals and contact information for organizations.
