Macy, 7, is a smart little shih tzu-poodle mix, said her owner, Vicki Coppin of Eureka.
“She’s playful,” Coppin said. “She knows her toys by name. She has three lamb plush toys that are three different sizes – small, medium and large. You can tell her which one to get and she’ll go get the right one.”
The photo was taken in October 2023 and Coppin recalls that Macy was not in a good mood.
“We had just returned from a long weekend in New England,” she said. “She was still pouting as she did not get to go with us. I think the expressive photo shows her feelings without any words.”
Macy only weighs a few pounds.
“We thought she was going to be bigger,” Coppin said.
Macy is a great companion, she said.
“She is loving,” Coppin said. “She’s just a sweetheart. She loves kids.”
